Mobb Deep

Jay Electronica feat. Mobb Deep - Call Of Duty

Yes! This is what I'm talking about, or actually more correctly what I haven't been talking about. As you can tell new posts are far and few between around these parts. There are a lot of hot records and hot artists out today, but none of them make me want to run to the site and post their shit. Jay Electronica isn't one of those dudes. I'm a fan. Dude can rap. I don't mean a few hot 16's can rap, I mean he can fuck with the Nas', Jay-Z's, Andre 3000's of the game can rap. "Exhibit C" is still the best song that has come out in the past few years to me. This is why I ran to the site to post this new record featuring Mobb Deep. Enjoy!

Dope Rap Shit: Mobb Deep, Raekwon & Nas on Yo! MTV Raps (Circa 1995)

New category here at Nation Of Millions - Dope Rap Shit. You can expect it to contain classic DOPE RAP SHIT! This one is Mobb Deep, Raekwon and Nas being interviewed and rhyming on Yo! MTV Raps back when these Mobb, Wu, and Nas were the ABSOLUTE hottest shit out.

Treats #85 - Original, Demo, Rare and Unreleased

BIGGIE feat. Sadat X

"Come On" (Demo Version)

 - This eventually found the light of day on B.I.G.'s Born Again album, but that version doesn't come close to this one. This is that Ready To Die BIGGIE.

LL Cool J

"Unknown Demo"

- Obviously not the real title but it says it all. The track is unknown and as you can tell by the shitty quality it is pure demo.

De La Soul

"Roadrunner" (Demo Version)

- This one is basically a De La version of Chi Ali's "Roadrunner".

The Roots

"Workinonit" (Demo Version)

- Produced by J Dilla.

Mobb Deep

"Shook Ones" (The Beatnuts Remix)

 - This one came courtesy of Stretch Armstrong. The Beatnuts remix to the original "Shook Ones" that never seen an official release.

Mobb Deep "The World" (Unreleased)

This one comes courtesy of Unkut. An unreleased Mobb track that didn't make the Hell On Earth album, which means this is never heard before Mobb Deep from '96!

J Dilla feat. Havoc & Raekwon "24 K Rap"

Another joint off Jay Stays Paid. Havoc and Rae on this one!

Mobb Deep "On A Mission"

This is actually a Havoc record that features Prodigy but I like the way Mobb Deep sounds better. I'm still kind of living in 1995. This is off Havoc's solo LP Hidden Files.

Treats #35 - Mobb Deep Demo Tape (1994)

Here are a bunch of demo and original versions of classic Mobb Deep songs from their demo tape circa 1994. The tape hiss is in full effect and this sounds like demo's from the first part of the 90's usually sound, but it's some classic rap nerd shit regardless. For me, the bonus here is that the original version of "Survival Of The Fittest" starts with drums so I finally know how to drop the damn song proper. That shit always gave me problems!
