UFC's Dana White Video Blog Day 3

Here is the "Dana Blog" for Wednesday, Nov. 12th.
UFC 91 Couture vs. Lesner this Saturday.

UFC's Dana White Video Blog Day 1 & 2

UFC 91 is this Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas. It's Randy Couture's big return to the UFC and he's defending his title against the monster Brock Lesner. With Couture's return the UFC expects to set record PPV numbers for this fights. Throw in the mix all the wrestling fans that will tune in to watch the former WWE Champ try and become the UFC Champ and UFC 91 might be the biggest single fight the UFC has promoted. Dana White is putting out a video blog every day this week about the build up to the fight and what he goes through on a daily basis. Monday's is above, Tuesday's below.

Kimbo Slice SUCKS

This is the full video of the destruction of the big bad Kimbo Slice. Only about 14 seconds of it is the actual fight, the rest is the hype that surrounds it. When I say destruction I'm referring more to the destruction of his rep. He got destroyed by Seth Pertruzelli, who was a last second replacement for Ken Shamrock. Pertruzelli was a guy who was never able to make a mark in the UFC and has never been on anybody's top 20 and he still demolished Kimbo. The classic example of hype, Kimbo was an incredible rating draw but realistically he was never even close to being a contender. But I still wouldn't want to fight him! Fast forward to the 2:10 mark to skip past the ring introductions.

Couture vs. Lesnar @ UFC 91

The BIGGEST fight in UFC history is going to happen Nov 15th at MGM in Vegas when UFC Heavyweight Champ Randy Couture makes his return to the octagon to take on Brock Lesnar. Couture "retired" from the UFC, then spent the past year in court trying to get out of his contract to fight Fedor, and now has come back after he realized he lost his battle. To be real, Couture wasted everybodys time. His, the UFC's, yours and mine. Here is the audio from the hour long press conference with Dana White, Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar.

Rampage Jackson @ UFC 87 Press Conference

The Rampage Jackson saga took a turn for the better this week when he returned to the public eye at the Press Conference for UFC 87 this week and adressed the media about his situation. Looks like things will work out for Jackson, although he still has some legal issues to deal with. You can watch the press conference by clicking HERE.

Dana White at the UFC 87 Press Conference on Rampage...

“Rampage lost the fight to Forrest Griffin. He hung out in Vegas for a week. He was hanging out by the pool and he was fasting. He wasn’t drinking; he wasn’t eating. He was drinking energy drinks,” explained White. “You saw what happened on TV, the problems that he had. They took him in for psychiatric evaluation for over 72 hours. What they came back with was that there was nothing wrong with him mentally; it was physically. He was exhausted. He had severe dehydration. And that caused something called delirium. Apparently they tell us he’s over it now. He is healthy mentally and physically. He will be back in the UFC soon.”

Rampage at the UFC 87 Press Conference on his situation...

"That was the worst mistake I ever made, I got Dana over my back all the time. ‘Did you eat? Did you sleep? Drink your water?’ It’s like I’m two years old, but it’s all good,” he continued. “I love Dana man. He’s the first one to really take care of me and show me love.”
