Treats #14 - Early Kanye West (circa 1999/2000)

This is quite the rap nerd treasure. It's from The Go-Getters/Kon Man Productions album, which was technically Kanye's first album (circa 1999/2000), and the track is called "World Record Holders" by The Go-Getters. The super rare album was basically a showcase of Kanye's talents and everybody he was working with. There was his crew The Go-Getters (Kanye West, GLC, Really Doe and Arrowstar), his Kon Man Production crew (Boogz and Brian “All Day” Miller), and the roster of artists he was working with at the time (Mikkey Halsted, Rhymefest, Miss Criss and Tajji). This is Kanye before he was on Roc-A-Fella and in photos with gold painted chicks in their bra and panties. This jem came courtesy of Fake Shore Drive and as soon as they decide to drop another song from The Go-Getters album on their blog I'll be sure to jack it and post it on Nation Of Millions.
